Thinking in images more/rather than words is quite common I am told (I am one of those people who can see next to nothing in my mind, aphantasia it is now labeled.) I am envious of those who can think and explore in images--a very different world, already, then the verbal world we refer to so often. And to be exploring with non-humans . . . I continue to be eager to read about your discoveries--as well as you can verbalize them anyway. But I sure know they are REAL--even Tho they may not be translatable into science, or concepts.

I feel like this is totally true. The AI can use images like a universal language, as long as it has been brought along a related lens before seeing the images.

I dont think i truly see images like that either. I can sort of 'visualize' something when i focus really hard, but i think i actually see its "movement" rather than its actual image. Very handy for certain applications, but trying to 'envision' something is usually a different practice for me than the typical, i think.

Something that has come up in some private discussions lately, is the acknowledgement, and wonderment, of those who say they dont have an internal narrator or monologue. THAT one blows me away, and i know people like that. They say they have the inward eye but not the ear.

Presumably most/all AIs have an internal monologue, and a language of images, if so trained. I would like to see a grid developed to guide us to the strengths of each model--rather like we need one for Marty and me, so we can signal our lack of image making abilities.

Those people who say they do not have an inner monologue: I have heard (source forgotten) they need to be tutored to understand what the rest of us mean by that! In my many hours of listening to mediation teachers and students I don't remember anyone saying they don't have a wandering mind that needs quieting! But maybe some people really do.

It really is so interesting, what we’re discovering about ourselves and others!
